"We had a situation where one of our products which happened to be a medical device was not meeting the ESD specification. When the units were failing we had very little information about the root cause of the failure. This product had a Risk processor running Windows CE operating system. Tony came in and in a short time he was able to develop a boot level code that gave us the basic functionality and exposed the processor internal failure information. Using this code we were able to have a good insight in to the root cause of the failures when the ESD events were occurring. I was very impressed with Tony Khoshaba's contributions; he did the work in a short time and in an efficient manner. His approach of looking at complicated problems from a simplified perspective helped us coming up with a resolution to our ESD problem."

"Tony worked for me at Exalt from April 2007 to August 2009. During this time Tony demonstrated the breadth of his experience in SW development on multiple occasions by contributing to the design, implementation, and integration of various SW functions to control and manage wireless point-to-point radio systems, operating in bands from 2-40GHz. The SW functions Tony worked on include, but are not limited to Monitored Hot Standby (MHS), SNMP v1, v2c, and v3, XML based configuration storage, web server based GUI, and Linux driver support and maintenance. He also created a SW profiler to analyze the timing of code execution in detail. I thank Tony for his contributions."

"Tony Khoshaba (contractor), has demonstrated the ability to merge into a team environment, grasp the task(s) at hand, research, design and code, overcome obstacles, and provide an end product that moves us closer to a streamlined conversion process for our Consilidation of Network components (Conet+) at SBC Messaging.
The underlying goal was to facilitate the conversion of one vendor's (Digital Sound) proprietary machine code, which stores digitized voice, over to another vendor's (Unisys) proprietary software structure residing on a main-frame voice mail platform. The daunting task of streamlining this process cannot be fully appreciated unless one understands the original process. Under the old process it required 2 full nights of work (outage and down time) to move the existing customers from a remote site to the hub location. Once the hard-drives were in the hub location, 4 Digital Sound machines were utilized for crunching the voice into a format that the Unisys machine could recognize. The task ran for 36 hours straight for conversions with no back-out mechanism in place except for full revert (losing all the work upto this point).
Under the new process which Tony has developed, it is currently possible to move 9000 mailboxes over network, already formatted into Unisys recognizable format for under 8 hours. This improvement is from 36-48 hours to 8 hours....
It is recognized that Tony's abilities far exceeded any expectations that we had through the use of a contractor ..."

"Tony has been with Westell since July'98. At that time, we had a need for a senior level developer; one that could come in and become productcive quickly with a minimum of direction. What further required the skills of an experienced developer was the fact that the requirements for the software he was to develop existed only at a high level. There was plenty of room for error and ambiguity, therefore requiring Tony to begin, in some respects, by determining detailed requirements for the software modules he was responsible for. Tony did all of these things.
He has contributed to the project in many ways, handling key system modules (card configuration, Alarm/event handling, and Inventory Controller), in addition to some ancilliary assignment sucg as adapting existing diagnostic code to serve as factory test code. This shows that he is capable of handling not only application code, but also low level driver code ...
Tony gets along well with all members of our immediate group, and has also had to work with individuals outside our group (linecard development group, manufactoring test, as well as our customer). The quality of his software has been high, due to his good coding practices and thourough unit testing. His code is well documented, allowing ease of maintenance down the road ...
